Storage Skids

A less expensive option to transport the MMARS system is a storage skid. Also built out of military grade aluminum, the storage skid can be picked up from all 4 sides with a forklift. It does expose the components to the elements, but aluminum does not rust. Aluminum welds can absorb water. An excessive amount of water does not hurt the function/capacity of the ramps but does make them weigh more. Small holes can be drilled at the end of the ramp on the underside. (DO NOT DO THIS UNTIL YOU SPEAK WITH A LANDSPORT REPRESENTATIVE) to allow this water to drain. NEVER drill holes on the top or sides of the ramps.

Once the components are packed, the heavy duty netting is put in place and secured using multiple D-Rings and straps.
